My Mazda was making a “clunking” noise that was getting worse, so I took my car to S & S on the recommendation of a collegue. Vovo not only kept communication up with me during the repair, he even told me what all of my options were and helped me select the most economical option, which I appreciate as a graduate student. He even confirmed what I suspected all along- a previous national chain mechanic had actually been the reason why my car was making this noise.

I love this place! I've taken my car there twice, once for a new clutch and once for a repair to the exhaust system (the pipe to the muffler had rusted through). Both times the work was done in less than a day and for a great price. For the latter repair, the owner did a repair rather than replace the entire exhaust system because, well, it's an old car and I don't expect to have it for much longer. No attempt to get me to go for the more expensive option, but he also made sure to check and let me know if going the repair route would only lead to me being back in the shop soon. Highly recommended.
I trust Vovo with my car repairs from now on- a good mechanic willing to talk through repairs and that won’t hesitate to recommend a less-expensive repair option is about as rare as a drive-in theater these days.
