I'm so excited to have found this place. The shop is obviously a labor of love. I finally found a home for my brother's unique and historic books (on consignment so I know I'll get what the market dictates) and I am looking forward to being a member of the community and coming by to hear music & sip wine! Robert Harper, the owner, was a knowledgeable man who told us he had moved to Riverdale from Pennsylvania. There were thousands of books on shelves waiting to be purchased and all were reasonably priced.
I visited for the first time with my sister who had driven about 30 miles from Virginia to see the various changes in the neighborhood where we lived and grew up as children. This shop stood out as a welcome addition to the community.
It's a book lover's paradise. Books range from cheap used paperbacks to expensive rare books.
To our amazement, we noticed a baby grand piano in the back area, with some comfortable chairs, and apparently it is used on occasions when musical performances, book readings and signings are held. Coffee is available, and there is strong WiFi service.

If you love books, this is a great place to go! But more than just a used book store. Live music periodically, t-shirts, buttons, and coffee shop to come. Owner very nice and helpful!
